Multi-Agency Partnership Formed to Uncover Leads in the "Pinal County Arizona Jane Doe 1987" Case

June 3rd, 2024

DNAhawkshaw Genetic Genealogy is honored to partner once again with the Pima County (AZ) Office of the Medical Examiner to utilize Forensic Investigative Genetic Genealogy (FIGG) in generating leads towards the identification of Pinal County Arizona Jane Doe 1987.

According to NamUs, the remains of this unidentified female, aged between 21-35 years old, were discovered on January 7th, 1987 along a roadside in a desert area. She has remained unidentified for over thirty-seven years.

In a strategic alliance, DNAhawkshaw Genetic Genealogy along with a team of independent FIGG analysts have partnered with Intermountain Forensics to establish a fundraising portal where donations can be made by the public to cover the necessary lab costs on these cases. Work like this would not be possible without these generous donations.  Thank you.
